Shop/wine critic/winery review:
Bright and savory, this floral scented Pecorino offers juicy tropical fruit and lemon drop sensations accented by notes of mint and thyme. The ripe fruit is balanced by brisk acidity that leaves the palate feeling cleansed and refreshed.
Took me way too long to learn that Pecorino is a grape. Whoops. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this wine. Its a full flavor white; such a refreshing change from the recent Chardonnays I've been drinking recently. I definitely noted a sweet lemon taste; as in the flavor without the tart sour backing. Something herbal, but not mint. It was a little richer than that. Wow, definitely enjoyed. I don't think it would pair with Pecorino cheese, so that's that. Gosh I regret not buying it. I'll have to go back.
