Shop/wine critic/winery review:
A hue of warm garnet red, tending towards brick. Ripe red fruit with a delicate and heavenly bouquet of stewed berries. The palate is full, harmonious and velvety with dark fruits, notes of tobacco and balanced acididty.

Your Review:
I did share this with my roommate.  Bless his soul, he left some for me to taste after I came home.  Unfortunately, this means that I had it 36 hours after it had been opened, so it may have been just past its prime.  That's ok.  Chanti, and Sangiovese are nice wines, and I am really learning to differentiate.  Or so I think.  It definitely had a rich color, and an even richer flavor.  These Chianti have to be different from the crap ones in Boyer has discussed.  I really enjoyed it.  I did notice some fruits, maybe a red plum, or something ripe and juicy.  Maybe even overripe.  A heavier note of smoke or tobacco; it seemed to me almost like that taste you get in your mouth when someone leaves a charcoal grill on too long.  It's that smoky hollow taste.  Good. Want to compare it fresh out of the bottle.
