Shop/wine critic/winery review:
Vivid straw colour. Fresh,
clean and intense bouquet enlivened by notes of citrus fruit with a depth of
pears and apples. Deliciously fresh and full in the mouth where racy, focused
flavours deliver notes of minerals, lemon rind and green apples. Good length
and a refreshing finish. Has all the character of the best from its
appellation.
Your Review:
Thanks again to the roomie for taking pity on me. What is Vergejo? I must try more from this varietal. I definitely got lemon in this wine, which also may be because of its rich yellow color. It is a little more golden, which god me thinking it may be oaked? It has to be, because it has that smooth vanilla flavor and feel. I liked this wine, but don't know enough of the varietal to know if this is standard for the grape. I did like the finish, and was grateful to experience this wine.
