Shop/wine critic/winery review:
Aromas of bright berry fruit and
violets merge with zesty spice and intense juicy flavors of ripe raspberry,
plum and black cherry in this medium-bodied, food-friendly wine. Pairs
perfectly with a variety of foods such as spicy pastas, red meats and poultry,
as well as aged cheeses.
Your Review:
This grape varietal makes up Chianti, so it makes sense that it tastes very similar. That bold fruit flavors was nice, and it did have a strong spice hint to it. Overall, I enjoyed it, but could tell it was not for everyone. I would like to try it with food.
